Clip System

The sports floor Clip System is a low profile, floating sports flooring system, designed for installations over all types of flat subfloors. This sports floor system is ideal for renovation projects, or when the finished floor height must be kept to an absolute minimum.
The 7/8″ (22mm) solid hardwood floor boards are joined together with Junckers Steel Clips, which allow for unique independent floor board flexing. The floor floats over a 3/8″ (10mm) performance foam underlay for maximum resilience.

A Junckers sports floor is made from 100% solid hardwood and will last for generations. Each plank is made from two rows of staves and is tongue and groove jointed on all four sides.

The floors are extremely stable and therefore minimizes challenges when humidity levels change through the year. We take far longer than normal over the drying process to ensure the movements that occur naturally in all wood is fully controlled and kept to a minimum.

Safe Indoor Air Climate:

All Junckers solid hardwood sports floors have the Danish Indoor Climate Certificate for low emissions of organic substances and can be delivered with either a FSC® or PEFC™ accreditation. A product with this accreditation has undergone extensive degassing and odor tests. This ensures that there are no chemical substances in the floor, which adversely affects the air quality in the room.

Quality Product:

All Junckers’ sports floors perform with unique area-elastic characteristics providing the ultimate freedom of movement, protection against injury and enables the athlete to perform to the best of their abilities. Our sport’s floors are always supplied prefinished with lacquer from the factory. This makes the floor ready to use right after installation. Junckers floors are sealed in the factory with our own produced hard wearing polyurethane lacquer. We guarantee fast and easy installation. Each floor board has a length of 3700mm and covers approx. 0.5 m².

Renovate and Re-Use:

The Clip System is a low profile, floating sports flooring system, designed for installations over all types of flat subfloors. This system is ideal for renovation projects, remodeling or when the finished floor height must be kept to an absolute minimum. Since there are no nails used in the Clip System, the floor system can be taken up and reinstalled elsewhere if ever needed. This floor system makes it ideal for anything requiring you to move from one location to another with minimal downtime setting it back up again.

High Quality and Low Maintenance:

A prefinished floor eliminates the risk of human error when sanding and lacquering on site and avoids using lacquers of unknown quality. Floors sealed with lacquer from the factory ensure high quality, and save on-site labor costs. Our floors are easy to clean, maintain and are fully repairable. On a daily basis the floor only requires sweeping or a machine cleaning using as little water as possible.
